Adams 12 Five Star Schools BASE Programs

Adams 12 BASE Programs serve elementary students beginning at five (5) years of age. Students in the BASE Program engage in a wide variety of activities and choices, providing students with opportunities to create, learn and grow through arts, physical activity, and academic enrichment activities during out-of-school time. BASE activities allow students opportunities critical to their social-emotional development.

The purpose of the Before & After School Enrichment (BASE) Program is to provide safe, quality, school-aged care in the school setting, whereby each student is enriched with various experiences conducive to their academic, social and physical development. These self-supporting programs are offered to any student enrolled and attending an elementary school in Adams 12 Five Star Schools and/or living within the district boundaries during the summer months. Please note that sites are licensed for specific enrollment capacities. Space is limited, and BASE Programs frequently have a list of families waiting for an opportunity to enroll in BASE. Students with disabilities are welcome. The BASE department works with specialists within Student Support Services to support students with additional needs.

Mission: To empower and enable all children to reach their full potential as honest, caring, and genuinely compassionate human beings.
